SaaS Product Discovery Intensive
A two-week discovery engagement that settles problem framing, MVP cut, and release sequence before heavy engineering spend.
Who it is for
Founders and product leads with a SaaS idea — or a half-formed product — who need an honest first-release boundary. Typical clients have early customer conversations, a rough prototype, or a backlog that keeps growing without a clear cut line.
Result you walk away with
A written MVP brief covering problem statement, primary user jobs, in-scope and out-of-scope features, suggested release sequence, open risks, and notes for whoever will build. The intensive does not include production coding or hiring contractors for you.
What is included
- Kick-off briefing and document review
- Stakeholder and user interviews (up to eight sessions)
- Two half-day facilitation workshops

- Optional 90-minute handoff call with your engineering partners
What is excluded
Ongoing product ownership, sprint facilitation after handoff, visual design systems, and paid media. Engineering implementation can be scoped separately through our Engineering Readiness Audit if your team needs a build readiness check first.
Provider and process
Led by a PortalRidge principal consultant with a second facilitator for workshop days. Week one focuses on interviews and framing; week two on facilitation, cut decisions, and the written brief. You assign a decision-maker who can approve scope cuts during workshop two.
Timeline and delivery
Standard run time is ten business days from kick-off. Delivery is remote-first across Australian time zones. Brisbane-based teams may book on-site workshop days at our office address when diary space allows.
Preparation
Before day one we ask for existing research, competitor notes, analytics if any, and a list of people we should interview. Without a decision-maker available in week two, we pause rather than invent cuts.
Pricing basis
Fixed engagement fee starting at AUD 12,800, adjusted for interview volume and on-site travel. A deposit confirms the booking; see Rates and our Refund policy.
