Refund & cancellation policy
Refund, deposit, cancellation, and rescheduling terms for PortalRidge discovery intensives and MVP consulting engagements.
This policy covers consulting engagements with PortalRidge Engineering Consulting: discovery intensives, scope reviews, and readiness audits. It does not cover physical goods, software licences, or subscriptions — we do not sell those.
Eligibility
Refund requests apply to fees paid toward a booked consultation under a written proposal. Informational browsing on this website involves no charge.
Deposit
A 40% deposit confirms the start date. Deposits are refundable in full if you cancel in writing more than 10 business days before the agreed kick-off. Cancellations inside 10 business days forfeit the deposit unless we cancel or we agree a later start.
Full refund
You receive a full refund of amounts paid if PortalRidge cancels the engagement and no suitable alternative date is offered within 30 days, or if we fail to deliver the contracted written artefact for reasons within our control.
Partial refund
If work has started (interviews scheduled or documents reviewed) and you cancel, we refund fees for undelivered portions minus time already spent at the proposal’s daily rate equivalent, and minus any non-recoverable on-site costs already incurred.
Non-refundable items
- Completed workshops and delivered briefs
- Third-party venue or travel costs already purchased with your approval
- Time spent after you approve a final MVP brief or audit memo
Timeframe to request
Request refunds in writing within 14 days of the event giving rise to the claim (cancellation notice, missed delivery date, or invoice dispute).
Process
Email contact@portalridge.click with your proposal reference, payment date, and reason. We confirm receipt within two business days and outline the assessment.
Processing time and method
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Bank processing times may add several days.
Rescheduling
You may reschedule once without penalty if you give at least 5 business days’ notice and diary space exists. Further reschedules may require a new deposit.
No-shows
If your decision-maker fails to attend a booked workshop without 24 hours’ notice, that session is treated as delivered for fee purposes. We may offer a paid replacement session.
Work already started
Once interviews or document review begin, cancellation converts to the partial-refund calculation above.
