Brisbane workshop days without the airport circus
How we run optional on-site discovery workshops in Brisbane for distributed Australian teams.
Remote discovery works. Still, some cut decisions land faster when the decision-maker, tech lead, and facilitator share a room for a half day.
What on-site adds
Whiteboards fill faster, side conversations happen in breaks, and “we’ll decide later” loses cover. We keep on-site optional so interstate teams are not taxed with travel for its own sake.
Logistics we handle
Workshop days book against our Brisbane diary. Correspondence address remains Office 8, 28 Test Road, Brisbane QLD 0000. Remote participants can dial into the same session when a full fly-in is impractical.
What we still do online
Interviews usually stay remote. Writing days for the MVP brief stay remote. On-site is reserved for the framing and cut workshops where body language and pace matter.
